How it works

1. Cast Searing Touch with buyback by paying 4.
2. Poppet Stitcher triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
3. When the Zombie enters the battlefield, Mana Echoes triggers, adding C for each Zombie you control.
4. Resolve Searing Touch, dealing 1 damage to any target and returning Searing Touch to your hand.
5. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the Zombie, adding .
6. Repeat.
7. If you control four or more Zombies as the combo begins, this combo nets infinite colorless mana.

This clever loop puts Searing Touch on an endless recurrence engine by leveraging its buyback cost, fueling the heavy mana requirement with a clever creature-generation loop. Every time you cast Searing Touch, Poppet Stitcher steps in to spawn a Zombie token, which immediately triggers Mana Echoes to shower you with colorless mana. Meanwhile, sacrificing that token to Thermopod's ability provides the necessary red mana to recast your spell, looping Searing Touch back to your hand as it resolves.
