How it works
During an opponent's turn, activate Heart of Kiran by tapping Wylie Duke.
Wylie Duke triggers, causing you to draw a card and gain 1 life.
The Watcher's first ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
Resolve the Heart of Kiran ability, causing it to become a creature until end of turn.
Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing the Tentacle.
When the Tentacle dies, The Watcher's second ability triggers, untapping Wylie Duke and putting a stun counter on up to one permanent.
Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
Repeat.
This intricate loop transforms a quiet opponent's turn into an engine of endless resources by uniting creatures, artifacts, and enchantments into a self-sustaining cycle. Under the influence of Arcane Adaptation naming the Kraken type, Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero is reclassified so that the death triggers of your tokens can target him directly. By using Wylie Duke to crew Heart of Kiran, you draw a card that triggers The Watcher in the Water to spawn a 1/1 Tentacle creature token, which Carrion Feeder then happily devours. That sacrifice triggers The Watcher's second ability to untap Wylie Duke—bypassing his stun counter restriction entirely—while fueling Carrion Feeder with a fresh +1/+1 counter and leaving you ready to tap Wylie Duke all over again.
