How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Arcane Adaptation, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

By playing Arcane Adaptation and naming "Dwarf," you rewrite the nature of your entire team so that every creature you control natively triggers Magda, Brazen Outlaw whenever it becomes tapped. This tapping is easily sustained by giving all your creatures the mana-producing ability of Citanul Hierophants, allowing them to tap themselves for green mana at will. Meanwhile, Stridehangar Automaton supercharges your token generation, turning every single Treasure creation into *both* a Treasure and an additional Thopter token. This feedback loop of tapping, generating abundant colored mana, and flooding the board with infinite artifact tokens lets you immediately cash in five Treasures with Magda, Brazen Outlaw to tutor up Dragonlord Kolaghan and any other artifact or Dragon cards you desire directly onto the battlefield.
