How it works
- Activate a creature by tapping it.
- Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Arcane Adaptation, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
- Repeat.
By dropping Arcane Adaptation and choosing "Dwarf," every creature you own instantly becomes part of the master plan, allowing Cryptolith Rite to turn any creature into a mana source via tapping. That intentional tap doesn't just produce mana—it satisfies Magda, Brazen Outlaw's trigger condition to manufacture a Treasure token, which is then dramatically amplified by Stridehangar Automaton's replacement effect to throw a Thopter token into the mix as well. Because both of those newly minted tokens are artifacts, they immediately feed back into your engine while you tap and untap, building an unstoppable economic mountain. Once you have accumulated enough wealth, Magda can cash out those accumulated Treasures to tutor up Dragonlord Kolaghan—or any other artifact or Dragon from your library—straight to the battlefield for a decisive finish.
