How it works

1. Activate Coercive Recruiter by tapping it, creating a 1/1 Elf Warrior creature token.
2. When the Elf Warrior enters the battlefield as a Pirate due to Arcane Adaptation, Coercive Recruiter triggers, untapping Coercive Recruiter.
3. Repeat.

By naming Pirates as the chosen type, Arcane Adaptation acts as the hidden glue that turns this engine into a self-sustaining loop. With that enchantment in play, Presence of Gond lets Coercive Recruiter tap to create an Elf Warrior token, which immediately enters the battlefield as a Pirate. This triggers Coercive Recruiter's ability to untap itself, letting you repeat the tap-to-create-token process endlessly for an infinite number of creature tokens and entering-the-battlefield triggers.
