How it works
- Activate a creature by tapping it.
- Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Arcane Adaptation, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
- Repeat.
This intricate engine transforms simple taps into a cascade of metallic resources, relying on Arcane Adaptation to rewrite your entire board's creature type to Dwarf so that every creature feeds Magda, Brazen Outlaw's triggered ability. Thanks to Cryptolith Rite, you can tap your creatures for mana to start the loop, which instantly triggers Magda to generate a Treasure token. Stridehangar Automaton supercharges this token generation by spitting out an additional 1/1 Thopter alongside every Treasure, and because those Thopters are also retrofitted as Dwarves by Arcane Adaptation, tapping them loops right back into the engine. While Frostcliff Siege and Stridehangar Automaton hand out passive buffs like trample and power boosts, you can ultimately cash in your boundless Treasure tokens using Magda, Brazen Outlaw's sacrifice ability to tutor every single artifact and a subset of creatures directly from your library onto the battlefield.
