How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Arcane Adaptation, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

By laying down Arcane Adaptation and naming "Dwarf," you instantly rewrite the rules of your entire board—every creature you control is now a Dwarf in the eyes of Magda, Brazen Outlaw, meaning any tap of a creature triggers her treasure-producing ability. Thanks to A Realm Reborn granting all your permanents a tap ability for any color of mana, you can tap your creatures to fuel this loop while simultaneously triggering Stridehangar Automaton, which not only doubles your incoming artifact tokens with an extra Thopter, but cascades infinitely. Finally, once you have flooded the board, Magda's own five-treasure sacrifice ability lets you tutor up your entire library of artifacts and dragons, while Nahiri's Resolve can safely tuck your pieces away during your end step to protect them for the next turn.
