Arcane Adaptation

How it works

1. Cast Sekki by paying 5.
2. Sekki enters the battlefield as a Bear due to Arcane Adaptation.
3. Ayula triggers, causing Sekki to fight a creature you don't control.
4. Sekki removes a number of +1/+1 counters from it equal to the damage it would've been dealt and creates that many 1/1 Spirit creature tokens, which are Bears due to Arcane Adaptation.
5. When the Spirit Bear(s) enter the battlefield, Ayula triggers that many times.
6. If Sekki is on the battlefield, resolve an Ayula trigger, causing Sekki to fight a creature you don't control, and then repeat from step 3.
7. If Sekki is not on the battlefield, activate Sekki by sacrificing eight Spirits, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a Bear with eight +1/+1 counters on it due to Arcane Adaptation.
8. If Sekki entered the battlefield, Ayula triggers, causing Sekki to fight a creature you don't control.
9. Repeat from step 3.

By letting Arcane Adaptation redefine every creature you own as a Bear, this engine transforms Sekki, Seasons' Guide into an absolute machine that continually feeds Ayula, Queen Among Bears. Every time Sekki fights an opponent's creature via Ayula's trigger, its own replacement effect prevents the damage by shedding +1/+1 counters to spawn a swarm of Spirit tokens—which instantly enter as Bears and re-trigger Ayula all over again. If Sekki ever runs out of counters and perishes, you can simply sacrifice eight of those generated Spirits to return Sekki right back to the battlefield, restarting the entire cycle to systematically wipe out your opponents' entire boards.
