How it works

  1. Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
  2. Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to any other creature you control, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
  3. When the creature that had Breath of Fury attached dies as an Angel due to Arcane Adaptation, Bishop of Wings' second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
  4. When the Spirit enters the battlefield as an Angel due to Arcane Adaptation, Bishop of Wings' first ability triggers, causing you to gain 4 life.
  5. Repeat each combat phase.

This brilliant loop transforms a humble combat phase into an endless assault, fueled entirely by the clever classification trick of Arcane Adaptation naming "Angel." With Mass Hysteria ensuring your new arrivals can immediately join the fray, your enchanted creature deals damage and triggers Breath of Fury to sacrifice itself, untap your board, and grant another combat step. Because Arcane Adaptation turns all your creatures—including the 1/1 Spirits spawned by Bishop of Wings—into Angels, that dying sacrifice registers as an Angel's death. This immediately triggers the Bishop to churn out a Spirit token, which then enters the battlefield as an Angel to net you 4 life and provide a fresh target to host Breath of Fury for the next iteration.
