How it works

1. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
2. Malcolm triggers, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token and a Treasure token.
3. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop begins with Arcane Adaptation naming Pirates, ensuring that Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Magmaw both count as Pirates to turn their own damage-dealing into a cascade of resources. When Magmaw flings a permanent at an opponent, Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator triggers to manufacture a Treasure token, which Chatterfang dynamically doubles by tossing in a Squirrel token alongside it. Sacrifice that newly minted Treasure for the mana needed to fuel Magmaw's next activation, and let Chatterfang's extra Squirrels serve as cheap fodder to keep the engine churning infinitely.
