How it works

1. Play any land.
2. When the land enters the battlefield, Retreat to Emeria triggers, creating a 1/1 Kor Ally creature token.
3. When the Kor Ally enters the battlefield as a 1/1 Saproling that is also a Forest land due to Life and Limb and Arcane Adaptation, Retreat to Emeria triggers, creating a 1/1 Kor Ally creature token.
4. Repeat step 3.

This brilliant little loop transforms a simple land drop into an endless cascade of life by turning your very tokens into the fuel that powers them. As long as Arcane Adaptation has named Saproling, every creature you create—including the Kor Ally tokens brought forth by Retreat to Emeria—inherits the land type of a Forest because Life and Limb turns all Saprolings into lands alongside their creature status. Consequently, each token's arrival on the battlefield satisfies the landfall condition of Retreat to Emeria all over again, sparking a self-sustaining cycle that generates infinite creature tokens, enter-the-battlefield triggers, and landfall triggers without ever needing to touch another piece of land.
