How it works

1. Activate Aerie Ouphes by sacrifcing it, targeting any creature with flying.
2. When Aerie Ouphes dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield from your graveyard with no -1/-1 counter on it due to Bramblewood Paragon and Maskwood Nexus.
3. Repeat.
4. Resolve all Aerie Ouphes abilities, destroying the targetted creature(s).

This crafty loop turns the persistent nature of Aerie Ouphes into an endless removal engine, recycling the Ouphes over and over by exploiting the clever type-granting magic of Arcane Adaptation. Because Arcane Adaptation makes every creature you control a Warrior, Bramblewood Paragon steps in to place an additional +1/+1 counter on the Ouphes whenever it returns. This new counter immediately cancels out the -1/-1 counter from persist, allowing the Ouphes to keep coming back indefinitely to snipe enemy fliers with infinite sacrifice and death triggers.
