How it works
Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to any other creature you control, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
When the creature that had Breath of Fury attached dies as an Angel due to Arcane Adaptation, Bishop of Wings' second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
When the Spirit enters the battlefield as an Angel due to Arcane Adaptation, Bishop of Wings' first ability triggers, causing you to gain 4 life.
Repeat each combat phase.
This engine transforms a simple combat strike into an endless sequence of phases, supercharged by a clever identity crisis. Arcane Adaptation redefines your entire team as Angels, allowing Bishop of Wings to react every time one of your creatures falls or rises—buffering your life total with a steady stream of 4-life bonuses whenever your newly minted Spirit tokens enter the battlefield. Meanwhile, Fervor grants your creatures haste so they can immediately rush back into the fray during each fresh combat step. You use Breath of Fury to repeatedly sacrifice your attacker, untap your board, and bounce the Aura to a fresh creature, endlessly repeating the assault until your opponents are overwhelmed.
