How it works

1. Activate Marvin using Kami of Whispered Hopes's ability by tapping it, adding at least two mana of any color.
2. Activate Marvin using Pili-Pala's ability by paying 2 and untapping it, adding one mana of any color.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Marvin, Murderous Mimic into a one-robot powerhouse by harnessing the combined talents of Kami of Whispered Hopes and Pili-Pala. While Pili-Pala usually needs a partner to reduce its untap cost, Kami of Whispered Hopes scales its own tapping ability to produce extra mana—and thanks to its replacement effect, any counter manipulation or synergy just flows naturally into generating a net-positive surplus. Once Marvin inherits both sets of activated abilities, you can tap Marvin for excess mana using the Kami's skill, then spend a portion of that bounty to untap Marvin using the Pili-Pala's skill while generating infinite colored mana in the process.
