How it works
Play Power Depot, which will enter with a +1/+1 counter on it due to its modular ability
Cast Toph either from your hand or from the command zone by paying 2 plus commander tax if applicable.
When Toph enters, it triggers, earthbending Power Depot and putting a number of +1/+1 counters on Power Depot equal to the mana spent to cast Toph, increased by Kami of Whispered Hopes.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Power Depot.
When Power Depot dies, its modular ability and Toph trigger.
Resolve the modular trigger, putting the +1/+1 counters that were on Power Depot onto Crystalline Crawler, increased by Kami of Whispered Hopes.
Resolve the Toph trigger, returning Power Depot from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped. Power Depot will enter with a +1/+1 counter on it due to its modular ability
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Toph. Choose to return Toph from your graveyard to the command zone.
Activate Crystalline Crawler by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding R/G.
Repeat step 9 until you have enough mana to cast Toph.
Repeat from step 2.
This ingenious loop relies on a clever interplay of resource generation, recursion, and counter-doubling to spin up infinite value. Power Depot serves as the recurring sacrifice target, entering the battlefield with a modular counter that gets supercharged alongside Crystalline Crawler thanks to Kami of Whispered Hopes amplifying every counter placed. When Toph, Greatest Earthbender enters the fray, her earthbend ability plucks Power Depot right back out of the graveyard, allowing Ashnod's Altar to repeatedly sacrifice both the land and Toph to fuel the mana engine. Meanwhile, Crystalline Crawler converts the accumulated +1/+1 counters into the exact colored mana you need to recast Toph and keep the entire assembly line running indefinitely.
