How it works

1. Cast Sin either from your hand or command zone by paying 5 plus commander tax if applicable.
2. As Sin enters, remove all counters from all artifacts, enchantments and creatures you control, putting twice that many +1/+1 counters plus one due to Kami of Whispered Hopes on Sin.
3. When Sin enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Sin, adding CC.
5. Choose to return Sin to the command zone from your graveyard.
6. When Sin dies, it triggers, putting its counters plus an additional +1/+1 counter on Kami of Whispered Hopes.
7. Activate Kami of Whispered Hopes by tapping it, adding an amount of or equal to its power.
8. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns the Commander tax into an engine of exponential growth by repeatedly casting Sin, Unending Cataclysm from the command zone. Each time it enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm untaps your board while Kami of Whispered Hopes scales up the counters harvested by Sin's entry ability. You then feed Sin to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana and return it to the command zone, letting its death trigger pile even more power onto Kami of Whispered Hopes. That massive accumulated power allows Kami of Whispered Hopes to tap for all the colored mana you need to recast the cataclysm, fueling an endless cascade of sacrifices and untaps.
