How it works

1. Cause Kami of Whispered Hopes to become an artifact using Thran Forge.
2. Activate Kami of Whispered Hopes by tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Kami of Whispered Hopes.
4. Repeat from step 2.

To pull off this infinite mana loop, you first need to use Thran Forge to turn Kami of Whispered Hopes into an artifact, making it a legal target for Voltaic Construct. Once the Kami is properly typed, its mana-producing tap ability scales with its power—and that’s where Kami of Whispered Hopes's own replacement effect comes in, swelling its power every time counters are involved. By pumping that generated mana back into Voltaic Construct to untap the Kami, you create a self-sustaining engine that leaves you with limitless colored mana to power the rest of your game plan.
