How it works

4. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop transforms Kami of Whispered Hopes into an artifact creature using the first chapter of Phyrexian Scriptures, setting the stage for Voltaic Construct to repeatedly untap it. Because Kami of Whispered Hopes inherently scales its own power through its replacement effect on +1/+1 counters—and taps to produce mana equal to that power—the mana generated each iteration easily outpaces the {2} cost required by Voltaic Construct. This leaves you with an infinite supply of colored mana, all fueled by a classic mechanical synergy between artifact untappers and self-buffing mana producers.
