How it works

1. Activate Anti-Venom using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, targeting itself and putting two +1/+1 counters on it due to its replacement effect and Kami of Whispered Hopes.
2. Activate Anti-Venom using Deathbringer Thoctar's ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target.
3. Repeat.

By exiling Deathbringer Thoctar into Agatha's Soul Cauldron, any creature you control with a +1/+1 counter gains its ability to ping targets and convert counters into damage. This is where Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer becomes the star of the show, since its own damage-prevention replacement effect turns that self-inflicted ping into a net gain of counters. Boosted by Kami of Whispered Hopes, that counter generation goes into overdrive, creating an endless loop of damage and growth that easily clears the board and closes out the game.
