How it works

1. Cast Sin either from your hand or command zone by paying 5 plus commander tax if applicable.
2. As Sin enters, remove all counters from all artifacts, enchantments and creatures you control, putting twice that many +1/+1 counters on Sin.
3. Activate Aura of Dominion by paying 1 and tapping Sin, untapping Kami of Whispered Hopes.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Sin, adding CC.
5. Choose to return Sin to the command zone from your graveyard.
6. When Sin dies, it triggers, putting its counters on Kami of Whispered Hopes.
7. Activate Kami of Whispered Hopes by tapping it, adding an amount of or equal to its power.
8. Repeat.

This potent loop turns your commander into a renewable engine for sacrifice and counter-scaling. As you cast and repeatedly recur Sin, Unending Cataclysm, Aura of Dominion lets you tap it to untap your mana producer, while Ashnod's Altar converts Sin into the colorless mana needed to pay for the aura's activation. Meanwhile, Kami of Whispered Hopes acts as the absolute linchpin of the strategy: its replacement effect dramatically supercharges the number of +1/+1 counters transferred onto it whenever Sin dies, which in turn explodes the amount of colored mana Kami produces when tapped.
