How it works

1. Cast Sin either from your hand or command zone by paying 5 plus commander tax if applicable.
2. As Sin enters, remove all counters from all artifacts, enchantments and creatures you control, putting twice that many +1/+1 counters on Sin.
3. Activate Aura of Dominion by paying 1 and tapping Sin, untapping Kami of Whispered Hopes.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Sin, adding G/U.
5. Choose to return Sin to the command zone from your graveyard.
6. When Sin dies, it triggers, putting its counters on Kami of Whispered Hopes.
7. Activate Kami of Whispered Hopes by tapping it, adding an amount of or equal to its power.
8. Repeat.

This loop relies on an explosive exchange of power between Sin, Unending Cataclysm and Kami of Whispered Hopes, utilizing Kami's replacement effect to multiply the +1/+1 counters transferred upon Sin's death. As Sin repeatedly re-enters and is sacrificed to Phyrexian Altar, Aura of Dominion acts as the crucial untap engine to ready Kami of Whispered Hopes for its mana-producing tap ability. This entire cycle is fully fueled by the mana generated along the way, allowing you to continually recast your commander, balloon Kami of Whispered Hopes to astronomical proportions, and harvest an infinite supply of colored mana and death triggers.
