How it works

1. Activate Daring Thief by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Pemmin's Aura's first ability by paying , untapping Daring Thief.
3. Daring Thief triggers, exchanging control of Khârn the Betrayer and any creature.
4. Khârn the Betrayer triggers, causing the player who lost control of it to draw two cards.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a simple trade into an endless fountain of cards by taking advantage of Daring Thief's inspired mechanic alongside the constant untapping power of Pemmin's Aura. By enchanting Daring Thief with Pemmin's Aura, you can repeatedly untap the Thief to trigger its ability, trading permanents back and forth with your opponents. To fuel this engine, Cryptolith Rite lets Daring Thief tap for mana to help pay for the Aura's untap cost, keeping the sequence entirely self-sustaining. Meanwhile, Khârn the Betrayer serves as the perfect permanent to exchange: every time you lose control of it, its own Sigil of Corruption ability triggers to draw you two cards, completely turning the betrayal into your own card advantage.
