How it works

1. Activate Daring Thief by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Freed from the Real's second ability by paying , untapping Daring Thief.
3. Daring Thief triggers, exchanging control of Khârn the Betrayer and any creature.
4. Khârn the Betrayer triggers, causing the player who lost control of it to draw two cards.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Daring Thief into an engine of perpetual trade by using Freed from the Real to endlessly untap and tap it, generating the necessary mana via Paradise Mantle along the way. Each time Daring Thief untaps, its inspired ability lets you swap control of a permanent with an opponent, which is where Khârn the Betrayer comes in as the ultimate trading piece. Because Khârn the Betrayer immediately triggers its own Sigil of Corruption ability whenever you lose control of it, trading it back and forth continuously rewards you with infinite card draw.
