How it works

  1. Cast Sacrifice by paying B mana and sacrificing Scholar of the Ages, adding seven B mana.
  2. Cast Entreat the Dead for X = 1 by paying 2B manaB manaB mana, returning Scholar of the Ages from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  3. Scholar of the Ages triggers, returning Sacrifice and Entreat the Dead from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Repeat any number of times.
  5. Once you have infinite mana, you may choose any amount for X in step 2.
