How it works
- Cast Burnt Offering by paying and sacrificing Scholar of the Ages, adding seven .
- Cast Incarnation Technique by paying its mana cost, milling five cards and returning Scholar of the Ages from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- When Scholar of the Ages enters, it triggers, returning Burnt Offering and Incarnation Technique from your graveyard to your hand.
- Repeat.
This loop relies on a brilliant recursive recycling of spells and resources using Burnt Offering to sacrifice Scholar of the Ages, generating seven black mana in the process. We then cast Incarnation Technique—utilizing its demonstrate ability to mill five cards and return Scholar of the Ages straight from the graveyard back to the battlefield. The moment Scholar of the Ages enters, its triggered ability lets us pull both Burnt Offering and Incarnation Technique right back out of the graveyard and into our hand, resetting the loop for infinite mana and triggers.
