How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding .
2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying , blinking Scholar of the Ages and the mana-producing permanent.
3. When Scholar of the Ages enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Ghostly Flicker and up to one other instant or sorcery to your hand from your graveyard.
4. Repeat.

By using Ghostly Flicker to exile and return both Scholar of the Ages and a mana-producing permanent, you trigger the Scholar's entry ability to continually pull the Flicker right back into your hand alongside any other spell you desire.
