Extravagant Replication + Scholar of the Ages + Temporal Manipulation
Extravagant Replication
Scholar of the Ages
Temporal Manipulation
Infinite turnsLock
How it works
Cast Temporal Manipulation by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
Move to your next turn.
At the beginning of your upkeep, Extravagant Replication triggers, creating a token copy of Scholar of the Ages.
When the Scholar of the Ages token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Temporal Manipulation from your graveyard to your hand.
Repeat.
This brilliant loop relies on Extravagant Replication to permanently sustain an infinite chain of extra turns. By beginning each upkeep with a fresh token copy of Scholar of the Ages, you continuously dig Temporal Manipulation back out of your graveyard and right into your hand. Because Temporal Manipulation grants you all the subsequent turns you could ever want, you ensure that Extravagant Replication will trigger again and again, locking the game down entirely.
