How it works

1. Deal combat damage to an opponent using a Rogue
2. Cast Notorious Throng for its prowl cost by paying 5, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Move to your next turn.
4. At the beginning of your upkeep, Extravagant Replication triggers, creating a token copy of Scholar of the Ages.
5. When the Scholar of the Ages token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Notorious Throng from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat.

Once you kick things off by dealing combat damage with a Rogue to cast Notorious Throng for its prowl cost, you set up an unstoppable cycle of extra turns. When you move to your next turn, Extravagant Replication triggers at the beginning of your upkeep to churn out a token copy of Scholar of the Ages. The entering Scholar token immediately triggers to return Notorious Throng right back to your hand, ready to be cast again on your extra turn to keep the loop going indefinitely.
