How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing Scholar of the Ages, adding .
2. Repeat step 1 for each other nontoken creature you control.
3. Cast Rise of the Dark Realms by paying 7, returning all creature cards from all graveyards to the battlefield under your control.
4. When Scholar of the Ages enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Rise of the Dark Realms and up to one other instant or sorcery to your hand from your graveyard.
5. Repeat.

This loop works by using Phyrexian Altar as a reliable engine to convert your entire graveyard back into a relentless wave of value. When you cast Rise of the Dark Realms, you flood the battlefield with creatures—crucially including Scholar of the Ages—which immediately triggers to pull Rise of the Dark Realms right back to your hand along with another instant or sorcery. You then feed those resurrected creatures to Phyrexian Altar to generate the exact mana needed to cast the spell all over again.
