How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost.
2. Kykar triggers, exiling Scholar of the Ages.
3. Resolve Capture of Jingzhou, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
4. At the beginning of your end step, Kykar triggers, returning Scholar of the Ages from exile to the battlefield.
5. When Scholar of the Ages enters, it triggers, returning Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat each turn.

This brilliant loop hinges on Kykar, Zephyr Awakener turning your sorcery-speed setup into a repeating engine by using its noncreature spell trigger to tuck away Scholar of the Ages into exile until the end step. When the Scholar finally blinks back onto the battlefield, its enters-the-battlefield ability reliably fishes Capture of Jingzhou right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. By feeding Capture of Jingzhou back into your hand to cast it anew on your guaranteed extra turn, you keep the cycle spinning infinitely without ever running out of fuel.
