How it works

1. Cast Dark Ritual by paying , adding .
2. Cast Undying Malice by paying , targeting Scholar of the Ages.
3. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Scholar of the Ages.
4. When Scholar of the Ages dies, it triggers, returning itself to the battlefield from your graveyard.
5. When Scholar of the Ages enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Undying Malice and Dark Ritual to your hand from your graveyard.
6. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a simple recursion engine into an infinite mana and spell-retrieval machine. By casting Dark Ritual to fund your plays and protecting Scholar of the Ages with Undying Malice, you ensure the Scholar can be sacrificed safely to Viscera Seer.
