Walk the Aeons

How it works

1. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying 5, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate any instant/sorcery card in your hand's cycling ability by paying its cycling cost and discarding it.
3. Escape Protocol triggers, causing you to pay 1 to blink Scholar of the Ages.
4. Scholar of the Ages enters the battlefield, returning Walk the Aeons and the card with cycling from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the cycling ability from step 2, causing you to draw a card.
6. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop establishes an infinite turn engine by recycling your primary resource every cycle. You cast Walk the Aeons to take an extra turn, eventually letting it hit the graveyard along with any card featuring a cycling ability. When you cycle that card, Escape Protocol triggers, allowing you to pay {1} and exile Scholar of the Ages, blinking it right back onto the battlefield. This triggers Scholar of the Ages to return both Walk the Aeons and your cycled card straight back to your hand, ready to repeat the entire process on your next turn.
