How it works

  1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2U mana.
  2. Cast Displace by paying 2U mana, blinking Scholar of the Ages and Great Whale
  3. When Scholar of the Ages and Great Whale enter the battlefield, their abilities trigger.
  4. Resolve the Scholar of the Ages trigger, returning Displace from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Great Whale trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
  6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Displace to constantly reset your two key creatures, generating a massive surplus of resources in the process. Each iteration is fueled by Great Whale untapping your lands to pay for the spell, while Scholar of the Ages conveniently dips into your graveyard to hand you Displace right back so you can do it all over again.
