How it works

1. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying 4, taking an extra turn.
2. Cast Displace by paying 2, blinking Scholar of the Ages and up to one other creature you control.
3. Scholar of the Ages enters the battlefield, triggering itself, returning Walk the Aeons and Displace from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop locks down the game by endlessly chaining extra turns with Walk the Aeons, fueling itself straight from your graveyard. The secret engine piece is Scholar of the Ages, whose entrance trigger conveniently returns both your extra turn spell and the spell used to blink it right back to your hand. By targeting Scholar of the Ages along with another creature using Displace, you reset the scholar to constantly recycle your resources. As long as you can manage the mana requirements, every iteration keeps the timeline spinning infinitely in your favor.
