How it works
- Declare the creature with Breath of Fury attached and Myrel as attackers.
- Myrel triggers, creating a creature token.
- Deal combat damage using the creature that has Breath of Fury attached.
- Breath of Fury triggers, causing you to sacrifice the creature it is attached to, then attach Breath of Fury to the creature token, then causing you to untap all creatures you control and to get an additional combat phase after this one.
- Repeat each combat phase.
This clever loop centers on enchanting Myrel, Shield of Argive—or another creature—with Breath of Fury, letting you leverage Myrel's attack trigger to constantly replenish the sacrifice fodder you need. Whenever that enchanted creature connects for combat damage, Breath of Fury triggers to sacrifice it, untap your team, grant you an extra combat phase, and reattach itself to the new token Myrel just created. Meanwhile, Gimli's Reckless Might quietly ensures your freshly minted army can immediately join the fray with haste.
