How it works

1. Activate Mogg Fanatic by sacrificing it.
2. When Mogg Fanatic dies, Mortuary and Fleshtaker trigger.
3. Resolve the Fleshtaker trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and scry 1.
4. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Mogg Fanatic from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Resolve the Mogg Fanatic ability.
6. Cast Mogg Fanatic from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This loop creates a devastating feedback loop by turning the graveyard into a reliable extension of your hand. When you sacrifice Mogg Fanatic to hurl damage at any target, Mortuary immediately intercepts it on its way to the graveyard, placing the goblin right back on top of your library. Meanwhile, Fleshtaker rewards that sacrifice by gaining you life and letting you scry, ensuring your library is neatly ordered. Best of all, Bolas's Citadel allows you to bypass mana entirely, letting you replay Mogg Fanatic directly from the top of your library for a mere 1 life—which your Fleshtaker lifegain helps offset—resulting in an endless storm of damage, sacrifices, and triggers.
