How it works

1. Activate Mogg Fanatic by sacrificing it.
2. When Mogg Fanatic dies, Mortuary and Vein Ripper trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Mogg Fanatic from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Vein Ripper trigger, causing you to gain 2 life and target opponent to lose 2 life.
5. Resolve the Mogg Fanatic ability.
6. Cast Mogg Fanatic from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns the humble Mogg Fanatic into an endlessly recycling engine of destruction, fueled entirely by the top-deck manipulation of Mortuary. Every time you sacrifice the Fanatic to its own ability, Mortuary immediately catches it on its way to the graveyard and slides it right back onto the top of your library. From there, Bolas's Citadel steps in to bypass normal mana constraints, letting you recast the creature straight off the top by simply paying 1 life instead of its mana cost. Meanwhile, every iteration triggers Vein Ripper to drain your opponent's life total while padding your own, easily offsetting the life paid to the Citadel and turning this self-sustaining loop into an unstoppable win condition.
