How it works

1. Activate Mogg Fanatic by sacrificing it.
2. When Mogg Fanatic dies, Mortuary and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Mogg Fanatic from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Mogg Fanatic ability.
6. Cast Mogg Fanatic from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns a humble goblin into an endless engine of doom by stacking replacement and trigger effects. You sacrifice Mogg Fanatic to ping your target, triggering its death so that Mortuary immediately rescues it from the graveyard right back to the top of your library. Meanwhile, Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel watches every creature die to drain your opponents and gain you life, buffering the life total costs required to continuously recast the goblin. Finally, Bolas's Citadel ties the whole operation together by letting you bypass mana costs entirely, letting you replay Mogg Fanatic off the top of your library over and over again for a mere 1 life apiece until everyone else is reduced to zero.
