How it works

1. Activate Mogg Fanatic by sacrificing it.
2. When Mogg Fanatic dies, Mortuary and Cauldron of Essence trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Mogg Fanatic from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Cauldron of Essence trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Mogg Fanatic ability.
6. Cast Mogg Fanatic from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a humble goblin into an inescapable engine of doom. By utilizing Bolas's Citadel, you bypass traditional mana costs entirely, allowing you to repeatedly cast Mogg Fanatic off the top of your library for just a single point of life while keeping its damage output active. Every time Mogg Fanatic is sacrificed to deal its damage, Mortuary quietly catches it on the way to the graveyard and slides it right back onto the top of your library. Meanwhile, Cauldron of Essence acts as the ultimate amplifier, harvesting the endless stream of deaths to drain your opponents' life totals and pad your own life buffer until they succumb to a mountain of zero-mana pyrotechnics.
