How it works

1. Activate Mogg Fanatic by sacrificing it.
2. When Mogg Fanatic dies, Mortuary and Relic Vial trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Mogg Fanatic from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Relic Vial trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Resolve the Mogg Fanatic ability.
6. Cast Mogg Fanatic from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
7. Repeat.

This loop is an exquisite engine of endless attrition, fueled entirely by recycling a single goblin across the zones. When you sacrifice Mogg Fanatic to ping a target, Mortuary immediately catches it on its way to the graveyard, seamlessly stacking the creature back onto the top of your library. Meanwhile, Relic Vial serves a dual purpose: its tap ability helps with card flow, but more importantly, its static ability triggers whenever any creature you control dies as long as you control a Cleric, draining your opponents and gaining you life. To keep the momentum going, Gwenom, Remorseless grants you the vital permission to play cards directly from the top of your library while bypassing traditional mana costs by paying life instead—a cost easily offset by the life gained from Relic Vial.
