How it works
- Activate Amoeboid Changeling's second ability by tapping it, causing Otherworldly Escort to lose all creature types until end of turn.
- Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Otherworldly Escort.
- When Otherworldly Escort dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a Spirit Detective.
- When Otherworldly Escort enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
- Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
- Repeat.
This clever loop relies on stripping away creature types so that Otherworldly Escort's resurrection clause can trigger endlessly. By using Amoeboid Changeling to make Otherworldly Escort lose all creature types, its death trigger correctly recognizes it as "not a Spirit" when Bartolomé del Presidio sacrifices it, ensuring it returns to the battlefield.
