How it works

1. Activate Amoeboid Changeling's second ability by tapping it, causing Otherworldly Escort to lose all creature types until end of turn.
2. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Otherworldly Escort.
3. When Otherworldly Escort dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a Spirit Detective.
4. When Otherworldly Escort enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
5. Repeat.

This intricate loop transforms a humble human into an endless engine by weaponizing the rules of creature types. It all hinges on Amoeboid Changeling's ability to strip Otherworldly Escort of all creature types; because it is no longer a Spirit at the moment it dies, its own revival trigger is bypassed, allowing it to return with a fresh batch of charge counters. You then feed Otherworldly Escort to Thermopod for red mana, which triggers Intruder Alarm to untap your entire board—including the Changeling and the newly returned Escort. By repeating this process, you generate infinite death triggers, enter-the-battlefield effects, and boundless red mana to fuel your victory.
