How it works
- Activate Amoeboid Changeling by tapping it, causing Trazyn to become a Sliver until end of turn.
- Activate Trazyn using Basalt Monolith's ability by tapping it, adding CCC.
- Activate Trazyn by paying 2, untapping it.
- Repeat from step 2.
This clever loop turns your graveyard and battlefield into an infinite mana engine by leveraging the mechanical overlap of creature types and artifacts. First, Amoeboid Changeling uses its tap ability to make Trazyn the Infinite a Sliver, which grants Trazyn the text of Scuttling Sliver from your graveyard—specifically, its "{2}: Untap this creature" activated ability. Meanwhile, Trazyn's own Prismatic Gallery ability already allows it to borrow the activated abilities of any artifact cards in your graveyard, meaning it has picked up Basalt Monolith's ability to tap for three colorless mana. By tapping Trazyn for mana and then paying two mana to untap it using the borrowed Sliver ability, you generate a net gain of one colorless mana each cycle to fund infinite colorless mana.
