How it works

1. Activate Amoeboid Changeling by tapping it, causing Magmaw to become a Pirate until end of turn.
2. Activate Magmaw by paying 1 and sacrificing another nonland permanent, dealing 1 damage to an opponent.
3. Malcolm triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding 1.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever engine turns Magmaw into an honorary Pirate by leveraging Amoeboid Changeling's ability to grant all creature types, allowing its damage-dealing activation to trigger Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator's wealth generation whenever it hits an opponent. Thanks to Exalted Sunborn's replacement effect doubling your token output, every nonland permanent you feed to Magmaw generates twice the Treasure tokens needed to fuel the loop. This creates an infinite cycle of damage and mana that can easily close out a game.
