How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Sephiroth, adding CC.
2. When Sephiroth dies, Anax triggers, creating two 1/1 Satyr creature tokens.
3. When the Satyrs enter the battlefield, Cathars' Crusade triggers twice, putting two +1/+1 counters on each creature you control.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Satyr, adding CC.
5. Activate Sephiroth by paying 3 and sacrificing a Satyr, returning Sephiroth from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Sephiroth enters, Cathars' Crusade triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop lets Sephiroth, Fallen Hero orchestrate his own endless resurrection by leaning on the persistent growth of Cathars' Crusade. When Sephiroth is sacrificed to Ashnod's Altar for mana, Anax, Hardened in the Forge leaps into action to generate a pair of Satyr tokens that fuel both future sacrifices and Sephiroth's own graveyard-returning *The Reunion* ability. Meanwhile, every creature entering the battlefield triggers Cathars' Crusade to pile on +1/+1 counters, conveniently keeping your board heavily modified and your mana flowing endlessly.
