How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Ozox, adding 1.
2. When Ozox dies, it and Anax trigger.
3. Resolve the Ozox trigger, creating a legendary 2/1 Jumblebones creature token.
4. Resolve the Anax trigger, creating a creature token.
5. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing Jumblebones and the other creature token, adding 1.
6. When Jumblebones dies, it triggers, returning Ozox from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Cast Ozox by paying 2.
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns your graveyard into a revolving door by cycling Ozox, the Clattering King and its skeletal counterpart through a continuous cycle of sacrifice and rebirth. Whenever you feed Ozox to Phyrexian Altar, its demise sparks Anax, Hardened in the Forge to leave behind an extra token, while also conjuring Jumblebones. Sacrificing those resulting tokens back to Phyrexian Altar yields the mana needed to recast Ozox from your hand, and because Jumblebones triggers whenever it leaves the battlefield, it smoothly retrieves the original Ozox to hand just in time to start the cycle anew.
