How it works

1. Cause Overgrown Battlement to become an artifact using Neurok Transmuter.
2. Activate Overgrown Battlement by tapping it, adding at least .
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Overgrown Battlement.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a humble defender into an unstoppable mana engine by exploiting a clever loophole in type manipulation. By using Neurok Transmuter's first ability to turn Overgrown Battlement into an artifact creature, you bridge the gap for Voltaic Construct to target it with its untap ability. Once the Battlement is tapped to generate a massive windfall of green mana thanks to its own defender-counting ability, Voltaic Construct uses a portion of those funds to untap it, leaving you with a net surplus of mana each cycle.
