How it works

1. Activate Overgrown Battlement by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Derevi.
3. When Derevi enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping Overgrown Battlement.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around Emiel the Blessed, whose activated ability acts as the engine to repeatedly exile and return Derevi, Empyrial Tactician to the battlefield. Each time Derevi enters, its triggered ability untaps Overgrown Battlement, which returns the favor by tapping to produce enough green mana to fund Emiel the Blessed's blink cost. Because Overgrown Battlement counts all defenders you control, your mana production scales up while Derevi, Empyrial Tactician generates an endless cycle of enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
