How it works

1. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
2. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Quintorius triggers, creating two creature tokens.
4. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
6. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on turning Survey Mechan’s high activation cost into a self-sustaining engine by manipulating its journey between the battlefield, graveyard, and library. When you sacrifice Survey Mechan to its own ability, Mortuary immediately tucks it safely back onto the top of your library so you can redraw and recast it. Meanwhile, that zone change triggers Quintorius, Field Historian to pump out creature tokens, which Adrix and Nev, Twincasters generously doubles into a pair of fresh sacrifices. Feeding those two tokens into Ashnod's Altar generates the colorless mana needed to recast Survey Mechan, leaving you with an unstoppable cycle that buries your opponents in infinite damage, card draw, and life.
