How it works
- Activate Ant Queen by paying 1, creating two 1/1 Insect and two 1/1 Squirrel creature tokens.
- Activate Baylen's first ability twice by tapping the Squirrel and Insect tokens, adding 1.
- Repeat.
This engine is a masterclass in token multiplication, fueled by the way replacement effects compound our production. When Ant Queen activates to create a modest pair of Insect tokens, Adrix and Nev, Twincasters doubles that yield, while Chatterfang, Squirrel General tags along to double it yet again with an equal number of Squirrels. This tidal wave of bodies leaves you with plenty of expendable fodder to feed straight back into Baylen, the Haymaker, whose mana-generation ability pays for the Ant Queen's activation cost with mana to spare.
